Fear Gorta

The Fear Gorta is a spirit that manifests from the presence of famine or exceptional hunger. It appears as a malnourished human, most of the time in ragged cloths and quite tall. The spirit is driven by an insatiable hunger, wandering around and seeking nourishment. Appearing as a famished human it approaches people asking them for something to eat. If they share something with it, the Fear Gorta can be friendly and even helpful, however, if the refuse to share food, the spirit will become hostile and seek its nourishment by consuming the life force of those who denied its plea.
