In this world, magic is as vital to faeries as water is to humans: without it, they are reduced to desiccated bodies, with wings that resemble withered petals. Driven by desperation, they hunt every source of magic—enchanted objects, wizards, artifacts—to absorb their energy and rekindle, even if only for a moment, the glow of their ancient enchantment.
